About P2000
P2000 modeled after thermos P2000 gives you the most efficient performance of any insulation product on the market today. Modeled after a thermos, the outside layer of P2000 is a reflective polyester film that has superior tensile strength, is heat resistant with advanced reflective properties. P2000 does not absorb water, moisture, mold, mildew, or bacteria.

Sandwiched between this reflective polyester film is EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam board. EPS is a fantastic insulator in both cold and hot weather conditions. You experience the superior insulative properties of EPS when you drink out of a foam cup or order Omaha Steaks. Amazingly, the foam cup on the right, filled with dry ice is not even affected by Liquid Nitrogen. EPS is so safe that it is used to ship live organs for transport.

P2000 is unaffected by the huge temperature swings that separate our inside environment from the outside elements. With an exterior layer of reflective coating and EPS in thickness that range from ΒΌ inches to 2 inches, you have an unparalleled insulation.
Liquid Nitrogen in Styrofoam Cup The foam cup protects us from boiling water and icy cold liquids. Our hand does not feel the temperature change nor does it get wet. P2000 performs exactly the same way. And, it can be made over 32 times thicker! Our EPS foam boards are a fantastic insulator in cold and hot weather conditions.

green building council P2000 is environmentally friendly and it makes for healthier and more comfortable homes. A member of the Green Building Council, it meets or exceeds UL building material standards and major US and Canadian building codes. It is proven, certified and performance tested. P2000 is recyclable.
P2000 installation P2000 is Lightweight and easy to install without requiring special equipment, tools or clothing, P2000 is the insulation of choice in residential and commercial applications.

P2000 virtually stops cold and heat transfer. It stops wind. It stops moisture and does not support mildew or mold growth. It is an excellent air and vapor barrier. It blocks radiant energy traditionally absorbed by other insulation options. P2000 offers a complete building envelope system for the entire building assembly.

P2000 is available in sheets and rolls in a variety of thickness so it is easy to install in both new construction and retro-fit situations. The wide variety of thickness and sizes allows you to use P2000 in virtually every aspect of your build or renovation.

There are two design choices with P2000 depending on your application.
P2000 WPR WPR
Use WPR in a basement, garage, warehouse, airplane hanger, manufacturing facility, automobile repair shop, storage unit or any other location where you want the insulative benefits of P2000 and a terrific white finish that you can leave alone, paint to any decorating design or stucco! WPR, with a reflective silver coating on one side and a durable white finish on the other, is easy to wash and maintain. Acid tested, and with no "shelf-life", there is no need to ever replace it. It comes with a 20-year warranty and has a tensile strength of 170 pounds per square inch.

P2000 RPR RPR
RPR (rolls and sheets) is an insulation and vapor barrier in one. Use RPR to smooth out the exterior of a building under siding, or inside underneath the sheetrock or paneling in your home.

When replacing or putting on a new roof, P2000 will keep the heat in and the cold out and just the reverse in the summer. P2000 can be used in just about any aspect of your build and in any commercial or agricultural setting. All this adds up to extraordinary insulation performance, which we call: P2000!
